DAY 34 – Port Eynon to Llangennith
What an amazing first hour in gentle light, winding up and down under crags and rock towers; it could have been mountain walking, but for the rolling surf and early surfers out to my left. Maybe a better section even than yesterday.
I was not an early-enough bird for the Worm – the tide was too high half an hour before I passed Worm’s Head – but I strolled along Rhossili beach into Hillend for a lunch at Eddy’s and an early stop.
I needed it. I felt lethargic and low in energy today, despite more sun. A prolonged rest through the afternoon will hopefully put me right for tomorrow.
Which reminds me I must get to the shop. Always hungry; never quite enough food!
