Hi, I’m Ken Scott, photographer, adventurer and a few other things. In 2011 I walked the Pyrenees HRP – Haute Randonnée Pyrénéenne – the high route through the Pyrenees from Atlantic to Mediterranean.
I undertook the trek with my best mate Wayne Gosden. Summer 2011 marked my 50th birthday (and Wayne’s too). What better thing to do than to walk the HRP in 50 days. One thing is for sure: making an expedition of this duration is not going to get any easier.
This collection of pages gives a few hints and tips and reviews from my expedition. It is not and cannot be a guidebook – there are publications that do that specifically. However, coupled with my journal, the photographs and other blog articles, it might serve to help anyone planning an HRP walk in the future.
